NIBC's Hybrid way of working


Working remote is part of NIBC’s standard Way of Hybrid Working. NIBC believes it is important that employees can also carry out their work remotely, such as from home, in a professional, safe and ergonomically responsible manner.


For this purpose NIBC provides a webshop where employees can purchase various products to (further) equip their remote/home office. Products such as monitors, video cameras, headphones, keyboards, mouses, cables, chairs and desks, are available at an attractive price and are compatible with NIBC hardware.

The Hague Office 

Employees in the Netherlands were paid the entire available amount in the working expenses scheme for 2022 in January 2022. They can spend this on (further) furnishing the home office. For employees who enter (or have entered) employment with NIBC as of January 2022, a voucher to spend in the webshop will be made available. The voucher can be applied in the webshop when making the payment. It is not required to utilize the voucher in full in one order, the remaining voucher value can be used for future orders. 

Frankfurt & Brussel Office 

Employees received a payment of EUR 300 with their salary in December 2020 to help equip their home office. New joiners receive this contribution as a gross payment after completing the probationary period. All products in the webshop can also be delivered in Germany and Belgium. Delivery costs are included in the price; this goes with the exception of desks for Germany, where attractive transport costs apply. If these costs apply, this is mentioned with the respective item. 

London Office

From December 2020 employees have been able to spend up to GBP 270 on (further) furnishing the home office. New joiners are also be given this option after two months of service. Employees purchase the products themselves, and can claim up to GBP 270 with the purchase receipt via Workday. Employees are advised to purchase the products locally. Make sure you buy the products as specified in the webshop to ensure they are compatible with your other NIBC devices such as laptops (all products as specified in the webshop are also for sale in the UK).
